This blog has two parts. This week I want you to answer the two questions using your own thoughts and ideas.
1. What does Problem Solving mean to you?
2. How is it used in math?
When posting a blog, indicate your first name and last name initial only. Also, state your class period.
In my opinion, problem solving to me means like when you have to go out of the box to think of something and use a lot of work. It is used in math pretty much on an everyday basis because like on some hard problems you have to think wildly and show a lot of work. I even use problem solving.
ReplyDeleteProblem solving to me is finding a resolution to a problem. Problem solving is used in math because in math their are many problems or equeations that you will have to anwser, and you will have to slove that problem. In my opinion problem solving is really finding a solution.
ReplyDeleteProblem solving to me is facts and data being presented in a problem and you addressing them all to formulate the answer. The way it's used in math is that all the problems in math have to be solved but some in different ways and some in similer ways.
ReplyDeleteProblem solving to me means that you have to show your work and really think out the problem because it is usually worth more point than a regular math problem, equation, multiplication, division, ect. This is used in math during all Problems when doing word problems, multiplication problems, ect. :)

problem solving to me is to find the answer it is used in math becuase there are many ways to solve a problem but in math uses numbers to find out the answer that is problem solving in math

I think that problem solving in math is when you really have to think to figure a problem out. I think it's used in math to solve word problems and number problems and to make you figure out other ways to to a problem.
ReplyDeleteTo me problem solving is fixing something, getting past a barrier or just solving problems. this is used in math by figuring out answers to the math problems it is also used to introduce you to more types of problems and answers to help you in the real world.
ReplyDeleteI think that problem solving is finding a solution to an issue or problem. Problem solving is used in math to simply solve problems and to help you understand other problems and issues also.

I think that proplem solving is when you have to solve a problem with multiple parts to it. Like in math there are word problems that you have to find out two answers then add or wat ever things it takes to find out the whole answer

Problem solving to me means any problem in school that requires you to answer it. If thiers a proble, you need to solving which is where the phrase "Problem Solving" comes in. In math it is used for word problems and problems that arn't like multiplication and ones like that.

1: To me problem solving does not just relate to math, or just to school in any way. Problem solving is used all the time to find something, find something out or to figure out a answer on a debate with someone.
ReplyDelete2: In math problem solving is used in around 99.9% of math. It is used in finding how to solve a mathematical prodlem, solving it itself and double checking work. The only time you don't use problem solving is reading the answer and writting it down.
Problem solving is when you try to figure something out you didn't know before.
ReplyDeleteProblem solving is basically math all you do in math is do problems and you have to solve them
1. To me problem solving is when when your figuring out a problem in basic kind of math. 2. You use it in math because everyday your kind of problem solving everyday. There are all types of problems for solving.
ReplyDelete1.To me problem solving is figuring out a problem and working it out step by step.
ReplyDelete2. math problems can be worked out instead of cheating or using a calculator you can show your work look it over and understand the math, not understanding which buttons to push on a calculator.

I think that problem solving means to answer a question by you.
It is used by in math with fingers, a calculater, or just do it mentally, either way you are still problem solving. Also I am going to add is that its not problem solving if you dont answer the question.
Period 5
ReplyDeleteProblem solving means to take time to work a problem out based on what you already know. It is used in math when you have to write a problem down and solve it through because it is challenging you.

ReplyDeleteI think problem solving is finding a solution to a problem. It is used in math almost all the time for example adding decimals subtracting fractions etc.
What i think problem solving is is finding the answer for awhile like doing division.how they use it in math is in divison, multiplication, subtraction, and addition its also where you show your work in divison like the work we have been doing.
ReplyDeleteTo me problem solving is finding a resolution to a problem. It is used in math because with problems you are going to have to answer. Altogether problem solving is saolving or resolving a problem.

ReplyDeleteTo me problem solving is doing a simple problem using easy steps. You use problem solving when you count change, or want to know a simple sum or difference.
To me problem solving is finding the answer to a question which is not only number based but in real life. We use it in math by answering questions that make us use our brains or think harder to figure out the correct answer.
ReplyDeleteTo me problem solving is finding the answer to a mathmatical question in which it is numbers based. It is used in math to figure things out in many subjects such as science etc.
ReplyDeleteProblem solving means coming to a conclusion by working through it by decoding the problem word by word.
ReplyDeleteMath problems are broken down into steps. I should take the problem apart so I can figure out the answer.
Problem solving to me is taking apart a problem and solving it step by step and checking your answer until you get a consistent answer when checking
ReplyDeleteIt is used in math in many different problems from exponents to dividing mized numbers.

ReplyDeleteProblem solving to me is an exercise for the brain for what we do and do not no.
ReplyDeleteIt is used in math evertday. We use it to find answers in math.
Problem solving is you trying to figure out a number based problem. You find it in most math problems today
